Welcome back to my bi-weekly blog. I made alot progress since last time mainly polishing up existing features and fixing bugs.



Revive System

  • I've implemented a revive system into my game. In the future, there will be a medic class capable of reviving friendly player.


Reload and ammo management system

  • I've implemented a first pass at my ammo system. Styled-after games like Arma, Squad or Battlebit a more realistic take on ammo where the game remembers how much ammo you left on the mag.


I have updated the hud to add team elements

  • They are currently non-functional but I will return to them later.

Damage System

  • The damage system is finally working. Damage is based on where you hit with shots to arms and legs taking reduced damage, shots to the body dealing nromal damge and there being a headshot multiplier.



Next blog I hope to have first-pass gadgets and grenades implemented
